Valmont Template Guard — Privacy

Information used

We read shop identity; product, collection and page IDs, titles, status and template suffixes; and live-theme identity, update timestamps and template filenames. We do not fetch page or theme-file bodies, request customer/order access or add storefront scripts.

We store metadata snapshots, approved baselines, findings, scan and action history, and Shopify sessions/access tokens. Shopify sessions may contain staff identity fields. We do not sell data.

Providers and retention

Railway hosts the app and PostgreSQL. Shopify supplies authentication and billing. Scan/action history and resolved incidents are retained for 30 days and pruned after completed scans. Current baselines and open incidents remain while installed. Verified uninstall and shop-redaction webhooks delete active records and sessions. Hosting backups follow the provider’s retention policies.
